Front of House Supervisor

Come and join our small team at The Miller. We’re looking for someone with bar or restaurant experience who enjoys looking after guests and is ready to help lead shifts.

From £13.40 per hour (aged 21+)Plus a share of tronc

The role

You’ll organise shifts, work across the bar and restaurant and help newer colleagues learn the job. You might already be a supervisor, or be looking for your first step into the role.

We’ll help you learn our systems and build confidence with running shifts, supporting colleagues and opening, closing and cashing up.

A little about you

  • Experience working in a pub, restaurant or hotel
  • Reliable, approachable and happy to take responsibility
  • Available for evenings and weekends
  • Reliable travel to Goring, including after closing shifts
  • Existing right to work in the UK

Front of House Team Member

For a friendly, reliable team member who can work across our bar and restaurant and continue beyond September.

National Minimum Wage for your age£12.71 age 21+ · £10.85 age 18–20 · £8.00 under 18
Around 16–40 hours a week
Full-time or part-time · Immediate start

What you will do

  • Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service
  • Take orders and serve food and drinks accurately
  • Work across the bar and restaurant as service requires
  • Help with stocking, opening, closing and keeping service areas organised

What we need

  • Availability for weekdays, evenings and weekends
  • Reliable travel to Goring-on-Thames, including after late finishes
  • Hospitality, bar or waiting experience is strongly preferred
  • Existing right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available

Goring & Streatley station is about seven minutes away on foot, with direct trains from Reading and Oxford.
